Hi Mrs. Dilts,

I haven't talked to you in so long.  I have a wonderful tail to tell you about Lewis and I.  First of all, how are you and your family? We are good but as crazy as ever  I still love checking out your website seeing what dogs have been around your place.

Well, I've been meaning to tell you about this for a while but never got the opportunity. Im not sure if I ever told you that Iam involved with theater.  That is my favorite thing to do, I love being on stage and performing. This year (my first year in high school) I have gotten involved with a theater class and Theater South. Theater South does a big performance every year with try outs and everything. This year we are doing the Wonderful Wizard of Oz (maybe you can already see where Ii am going). It has been adapted and rewritten by three of our very own students and directed both by the drama department teacher and students. The play has been wonderfully written leaning more toward the book than the movie. I tried out and made the chorus which has been extremely fun because I've been able to be three characters! A munchkin, an emerald citizen, and my favorite, a flying monkey! I have had the time of my life with this play!!!

Now, they wrote the play to have a dog Toto while Dorothy is in Kansas, but Toto takes the form of a little boy once he goes to Oz. This was to eliminate the problem have having a dog on stage the entire time. It sounds kind of odd but it actually worked out well. Now, they were looking for a dog, and of course I  volunteered Lewis. A lot of my friends actually recommended him to the directors as well. So, I sent them a couple pictures and they wanted to try him out. Lewis did better then I could have dreamed. He has never barked once, he has never struggled with anyone and every one loves him to death. Obviously, they let him be Toto. It has been so much fun being able to work with him on stage, and he has not once given us any trouble.

We have had two shows so far one for elementary students and one for everyone. And both times he has been one of the most loved characters. We have one tonight and three more next week. Lewis has been a real hit!

We are both doing fabulous, with and we both hope you enjoy the pictures.

Lots of Love

Dear Linda,

I hope you and all the dogs / puppies have enjoyed the last 2 days with this wonderfully mild weather.  Daisy has found a new passion.... laying in the grass in the back yard, watching everything that goes by (birds, planes, cars, kids) and listening to the many sounds. She was out there for over an hour! And as a proud mommy, I need to brag.

She regularly rings the bell hanging on the back door when she wants / needs to go outside! She is learning "sit" on command. She goes up stairs easily and is trying to go down occasionally. I'm so proud of her!

She is very playful! Patrick is really enjoying his "little sister" (as he refers to her). He takes her out for potty on the leash as soon as we ask him to  (although, he won't pick up the poop, yet).

I've attached a couple of photos.  One is of Daisy's head turned to the side. I see how much she resembles Pudge sometimes, and this photo really shows it.

I hope you, Paul, and your mom are all doing well. Take care.

Love,
Linda, Jim, and Patrick Kowalski ... and Daisy!

Hi Linda,

Hi this is Gina and Ben Matherly who bought Lulu from you!!!! She is doing wonderful I am getting some pictures ready for you I'll send them by mail. Lulu is the most social, fun loving puppy we are just having a blast with her. We also bell trained her to potty outside and IT WORKS!!!! Thank you for letting us know about that trick. I have a question for you thouhg, she just got the worst haircut ever.....they really butcherd her haircut. We still want her to have that fluffy teddy bear look, and that's what I told the groomer to do, but that didn't happen. Places were Petsmart and our vet at Roseland, where they have a grooming spa. This is the 2nd BAD haircut. Any suggestions on where to go and what to say?

Thanks again,
Gina, Ben, and Lulu Matherly!

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

Linda,

Just wanted to send an updated picture of Zoe. She is doing wonderful and is a great little girl.  She's adjusting to the family and going great with her potty training. It's hard to believe she's 5 months old already!

Thanks again,
Heather Batalis

Dear Linda and Paul,

My name is Bill. Maybe you remember me: My wife, Kimberly, force-fed me one of your Llasa Poo pups about 3 years ago this week. You see, I didn't want a dog--I didn't want a sea monkey! Oh, was I steamed when she put the down payment on the littlest of Sunni and Peanut's pups (and a female at that!) without my knowing anything about this plan of hers.

We brought our 2 year old and our 15 year old boys with us to your lovely home. I was the one with the scowl. It's not that I don't like animals, it's just that I didn't want the "hassle." Well, I cannot express to you how much I/we love our Addie. She is the best dog I've ever known! She is loved by all in our house and adored by every kid in our neighborhood. She is smart, so much fun, and totally sweet. She hasn't got a mean bone in her body.

We've wanted to come back down to visit you, but now my wife is afraid I'll bring back 5 or 10 more pups! We want to let you both know how grateful we are for doing what you do. Addie is the best pet in the whole world. Thank you!

Love from our whole family. Bill and Kimberly De Nolf

Hello Linda and Paul,

Just a short e-mail to say that Jack is just doing fine. He is great company for my mom when I need to run errands. He is also a great playmate for mom's greatgranddaughter. Madelynn and Jack play chase throughout the house. I hope you got my Christmas card with the pictures. I know you have been busy with the puppies. Just wanted to let know how happy we are with Jack. I think he is the best dog we ever had. He is smart and is easy to train he is very eager to please. Take care and keep up the good work breeding sweet puppies.

Eliz and Kathy and, of course, Jack
Hi Linda,

I just wanted to let you know that Buttercup is alive and thriving in her new home. We all adore her. She's ringing her little bell to go outside and potty. She's doing really good, not 100% yet, but pretty close.  I'm convinced that she just pretends to go potty just so she can go out. If we ignore her the first time, she gets really wild with the bell.  I think I'll get her a red kettle this December and see if she can earn her keep. She's a joy. I don't think I've laughed so much as I have this past month.

Hi Linda and Paul,

Just wanted to wish you and your family a Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year.  I have attached a picture of Annabelle and Molly that I just took this morning. Molly is a freshman now and Annabelle loves the snow! Candace Matsumoto told me that you are thinking of retiring from the puppy business - this makes us very sad! Please let us know before you do - we are seriously thinking of getting a "little brother" for Annabelle and we would want to get him from you! Hope this greeting finds you both in good health and spirits - we are all doing great!

Sincerely,
Lori, Kevin, Molly and Annabelle

Hi Linda,

Your web site looks great!!! I want all of the puppies...they are just too cute. Marley is getting bigger and doing very well. We have a vet visit next week so I'll know just how much he weighs. 3 weeks ago, he was at 7 lbs even. I almost cried...I just don't want him to grow up. He's so much fun and he's got such a personality...he keeps us on our toes...and is definitely one of the most spoiled puppies in the world. We are already talking about next year getting Marley a sister (or brother). Not until he's at least one, and we've got him all trained...but we definitely want another one of your cockapoos!! I can't wait for you to see him in person...he's just amazing, and we love him to pieces!!!

I've attached some pictures of Marley playing with his pal Kirby. She is just a week older than Marley, and they've been playing together since just after we brought him home. They cry when it's time to go inside...and sometimes Marley will grab her leash and pull her back in the park. It's too much!!

I hope all is well with you, and I look forward to seeing you when you make it up here.

Lisa

Linda, I just sent you some pictures of Lennon, and I didn't even update you on him. Lennon turned two and is definitely the cutest dog in all of Chicago. We have taken him to a dog park where he can run with other dogs--he's only 15 pounds, but can keep up with all of them. He has such a great personality that he sticks out in the crowd.

The girls still adore him--who wouldn't. He has brought so much joy to our household that we can't imagine a day without him. Thank you for helping to bring him into our lives. His father was Loop Lu, and I remember you said he used to leap. Well, Lennon has carried on that trait.

Thank you,
Cheryl, Bob, Mallory, Allie and Caroline Pernai from Chicago

Hey there!

We just checked out your web site and saw you are doing some updating. Looks good so far and now we are anxious to see the rest of the site. Got some new puppies coming on so I bet you are just a little bit busy!

Sally Rae is doing just great but getting a little bit chubby. She loves chasing the squirrels in our backyard and also the birds. I think the squirrels have moved their home as I don't see the nest in the tree anymore.

Am sending you a couple pictures of her. One is of me holding her. She likes to lay this way sometimes like a baby. The other one she is laying amongst some animals. Can you believe she is three years old already?

Will you be having any Bishockers (as I call them)? Sure hope we can make it your way sometime this summer.

Arlene Storer

Linda,

Little update for you on Ginger. Ginger is the most intelligent and loving dog, I have ever known. She knows every move and activity in our house hold. I would be hard to guess her vocabulary, as we have to spell now as she is always listening in on our conversations. She absolutely loves adults and children. Never a worry about her biting anyone. She alerts us to all intruders into our space. Yet she is a "Huntress" and tracks all the wild life here in Leo where we live. She has for the last three years had her doggy door, yet will not go into the road, only stays in her yard unless I take her out. She now weighs about 32 pounds and is solid muscle. She takes two 1-1/2 mile runs a day. She behaves as a retriever on land and in the water. She can take a Frisbee at about 3 feet in the air.

Dear Mommy Linda,

Guess what? We went to the bad lady groomer yesterday. Mommy Sharon asked her to trim us up and we came out looking like skinned rats. Boy was she mad! We did get to go shopping at Petco to buy us sweaters and a coat. Mommy Sharon was looking forward to having our Christmas pictures taken with George and his little boy Luke. I guess she will have to put a bag over our heads now. We have been good girls and have been going to work with Mommy Sharon everyday.

We are starting to get the idea that they would like us not to pee or poop in the house. We went to the vet a couple of weeks ago, and I weigh 6 pounds and Daisy was almost 6 pounds. George weighs over 7 pounds. We can still take him out though! Daisy is real good at biting his tail and running away so he can't catch her. I'm not kidding, she is good!

Mommy Sharon wants to ask you if you know of any good grooming books or videos. She swears that she can do better herself. I personally think she may be right. Mommy Kara is doing well in graduate school, and she took our pictures to show her kindergarten kids. Maybe she can take our pictures in our new pink Barbie fur coats. They are really cool although Daddy Mike likes the fleece sweaters better. We did a fashion show at work today, and everyone thought we were cute even if we are next to being bald. Well its almost time for the White Sox game and Daisy and I have front row seats with Daddy Mike. I think he will buy us White Sox outfits if they win the World Series! That would be sooooooooooo Cool!

Good Night.
XOXOXO Maggie and Daisy.

Dear Linda

I'm sorry we haven't written lately. It was quite a busy summer. Molly Moo had her 1st birthday, and she had a great birthday party. She has become quite a boat dog. I'm sending you a few pictures of her at the lake with her best dog friend Ginger, a yellow lab. It is so cute to watch them play. The second picture is of Molly in her favorite position while relaxing on the dock!

She is so great with people. Everyone at the marina knows Molly and they all pet her as she walks down the dock. (She seems to know the best places to stop especially when they are grilling steaks!) She is the BEST dog ever, and we love her to pieces!!! Give Nikki a big kiss from Molly Moo. I hope all is well with you and your mother. I hope she is well. Take care and thanks for raising such wonderful dogs! You are the best!

Dear Linda,

It's nice visiting your website. Grace is doing so well. She is such a great companion dog. Laid back, but frisky when my son brings over his Jack Russell, Shelby!

I can't tell you how many times friends and people tell me that they would love to have a dog. The only problem is, is they want Gracie! Friend and neighbor of mine are seriously considering a cockapoo. They just loved Grace as well as their older daughter. (only 1 child at home).

I see you have some puppies in the near future. What are they and pictures would be great. Are Roxie and B.J. still an item? Maybe not but worth the question.

Hope you all are having a great year and enjoying your horses and all your other pets. I'd love to hear from you. If you have time e-mail me and we can catchup! Thank you for blessing us with such a wonderful dog.

Take care,
Connie Oie

Hi Linda,

Thought it might be nice if I let you know that Sophie is well and thriving. I really meant to get you up to date but have had so many things going on this summer and then school started that I just didn't get around to sending pics or emailing. Anyway, I've included some pics of Sophie; she had her hair cut yesterday so she is looking good. Her favorite pal is still Sadie the boxer but when we go to mom's house on Sunday her favorite playmate is Gracie. Tonight I went to mom's and took Sophie. She looked and looked for Gracie, but Greg and Syd weren't there so neither was Gracie. Sophie was lost without her playmate. Hope things are going well with you. Will try to send pics once in awhile. We love Sophie, she is wild but so sweet.

Debbie

Hi Linda,

Haven't talked to you in a long time. Just thought I'd touch base. Rusty is doing so well. I've attached a few pics of him for you to see. They are not the most recent ones, but are not too old. He is still a sweetheart. He is so loving and caring. He loves to cuddle and give kisses. He wants to make you happy. He is about 41 pounds now. He is so full of energy and loves to play. Him and our other dog Brutis, play everyday, even though Brutis is getting really old. Rusty and him are best buddies. We just took them to our vet, because they had a halloween pet costume contest. They were Batman and Robin. (Rusty was Robin). They won 1st place and got a big trophy. He loved wearing his costume and seeing all the kids. (The kids from the pre-school next door judged the contest). We have been wanting to come our for a visit, but have been really busy. I'm sure Rusty would love to see you. We moved about 2 months ago (just to Valpo) and have been busy with the house. Rusty loves the new house and running up and down the stairs. He wears himself out. We try and go for walks everyday. He loves the new neighborhood, because there are lots of new dogs for him to see and play with. I am so happy that we picked Rusty for our dog. He is just amazing and we couldn't be more pleased with him.

Hi Linda,

I was thinking about you the other day and thought you might like an updated picture of Cheerio. Remember how long her eyelashes were as a tiny puppy? Well, look at them now! The groomer keeps forgetting to trim them!! She's a great dog...very loving and lots of fun. She has a mischievous personality but she makes us laugh. We can't imagine life before her now! Hope all is well with you and all your pups. We see Shamrock and Kasey regularly and they are both doing great too.

Fondly,

Linda,

How true this is! Rylee just passed her 1 year-old birthday and I have to tell you how much joy she has brought into our lives! She is quite a love!! One of these days I will actually e-mail you her picture. I think she got to be about 20 lbs. and is the most affectionate, lovable dog! I never take a walk without someone asking what kind of dog she is and telling me how cute she is! Her white front paws and chest are so neat. My son, Andrew, has nicknamed her "jiggles" because she jiggles her rear end every time she sees someone she knows! Thanks again! I have given your name to a couple of people so you may be getting some calls...Hope all is well. Take care!

Hi Linda,

Theo just had his first birthday (April 1) -- he is still the cutest guy, and continues to make everyone so happy. I also wanted to let you know about a great book I'm reading called "Pet Speak" which provides a lot of information about dog (and cat) behavior and what it means. I'm learning a lot! Thanks again for this wonderful year with Theo!

Peggy

Linda,

She's a wonderful dog! Her favorite toys are a soft Frisbee and a stuffed hedgehog that oinks. She knows all the names of her toys and gets whichever one we tell her to! She LOVES having a huge fenced yard and we spend summer evenings playing Frisbee. She's great at catching it! It's a little tougher getting her to let go of it, though! Whenever we have deer walking through the woods, she just has to go outside and say "hi!" to them.

Maggie's very good with our cats. She's kind of a police officer with them ...whenever there's a fight or she hears them scratching something they're not suppose to, she "gets" them! Our bed is a little crowded because she likes to stretch out, but lucky for us she gets too warm because of her thick fur and usually ends up on the floor! At her last yearly exam, the vet said she's in perfect shape and health and has some of the best teeth he's seen on a dog...we have you to thank for that!

She does suffer a little bit of separation anxiety, but just with me. We've been working on it and it does seem to be getting better! That's been the only real problem!

I volunteer at the local Humane Society and brought a guest home for the weekend ...a 12 yr. old female Cocker Spaniel! Maggie's never really liked other dogs (in fact, she hates them,) but she loves Brandy! Brandy came in as a stray (it's evident she had been owned-overweight and had a Cocker haircut.) Maggies's groomer offered to groom one of our shelter dogs for free, so I brought in Brandy, then she stayed the weekend. I'm trying to talk Alan into adopting her. She could be Maggie's mother ...exact same color!!!

I'll keep you posted on our family, and feel free to visit our Yahoo! Group. I have tons of photos posted there!

I'll e-mail again down the road!

Kelly

Hi Linda,

I'm so glad we've gotten reconnected! You know its awful how busy ones life gets and how easy it is to loose track of folks we care about. I understand about the computer crashing so I’m glad I finally got in gear and contacted you!

I’m glad you found a home of the little black pup. Boy she was a cutie. I noticed you have a litter due in December. Will they be Cockapoos? What can you tell me about them. This woman at work grew up having poodles, but has had Schnauzers for years as an adult. I showed her pictures of Wrigley and she’s thinking perhaps she’d like a Cockapoo. She was also considering a Schnoodle, but hasn’t been able to find a breeder.

You know I have to tell you Alice and I have friends from Australia and Jane was here for a visit a couple of summers ago and absolutely fell in love with Wrigley…she thought he was absolutely gorgeous. So when she returned to Australia she began an internet search for Cockapoos and couldn’t find a breeder. It turns out that in Australia they call the breed Spoodles!  Well she and her husband Paul have always had Labradors and Paul didn’t think they needed another dog (they also have a cat).  But, this summer they both came to visit and Jane really worked on Paul. When they got home she said he is willing to consider a second dog….a Spoodle!

I also have to tell you that I saw Josie this past year.  I was in Iowa City visiting my friend and she made arrangements for us to visit Josie and her family. Oh Linda, is she a cutie and so happy. She couldn’t have been placed with a family who loves her more.  Although I wanted to take her home with me!

I’m definitely going to work on getting you some current pictures of Wrigs.  Better yet would be a visit, but life is just a bit chaotic right now. Please let me know about the litter that’s due in December and I’ll pass the information along to this woman at work.  She is another real dog lover (we have a department full of them)!  She had three Schnauzers and lost two of them (Mom and son) within a few months of each other.  Now she has the one left (daughter) and is concerned about her being lonely without her buddies. It’s so good to hear from you.

Take care….Ruth Garrison

Dear Linda,

We got our puppy from you and your husband in May of 2004. She was from Speckles and Buster (I think those were her parents, but can't exactly remember). We named her Princess Leia. We have a son, Andrew, who is an only child, and he is nuts about his dog. He thinks of her as a little sister. He has never gotten tired of playing with her, petting her, cuddling her, feeding her, taking care of her. She is the sweetest thing in the world. People come up to us whenever we take her out for walks or when we take her on vacation with us. She has been healthy, good tempered, and a joy to have in our family.

I just found you on the web so that I could pass on your information to a friend of ours.

We hope this finds you well and still enjoying your work. Just wanted you to know how well it all turned out for us.

Best regards,
Beth Ann, Ed and Andrew Richards

Hi Linda,

Thanks for the Holiday Greetings.  How are you?

I hear you have another Beverly family headed your way for a pup.  I want you to know that all the people with your puppies are as happy as can be.

Our Snickers is a wonderful dog. We, of course, think that we are the luckiest of all. I think he's sold all of these neighbors on how special cockapoos can be. My sister-in-law, Lynne and her family are really excited to be adding Blondie's boy to the family. Thanks for all of your hard work. It has made many people very happy.

Judy Millerck (Snickers)

Dear Linda,

In case you have forgotten, we bought our dog almost four years ago already! Wow! Zoie is her name. She was the offspring of Dagwood and Blondie. We love Zoie so much. She has been such a great addition to our family. We enjoy her. She is now about 16 pounds. I don't know if you remember, but we stopped in a few summers ago while visiting my mother in Plymouth. I hope all is well. Thanks again for our love, Zoie.

The Mahrenholz Family

Dear Linda,

I hope your Christmas was wonderful. We had a great Christmas.  Molly is really a GREAT dog.  I know I keep saying that, but she really is!!  She was very well behaved with a house full of people both on Thanksgiving and New Year's Eve!  Everyone thinks she is the cutest little dog.  She still has only barked about 3 times since we brought her home and has not shed yet!  She is learning basic commands like "sit" and she goes right to her crate for bed at night when we take her out for the last time!  We just love her to bits!!!  The house breaking did get messed up a little when we brought a fresh cut tree in the house.  I think we really confused Molly. She started to poop under the tree! (or maybe she was just leaving us a present?) Give all of your dogs and puppies hugs for us and give Nikki a hug especially from Molly! Thanks again!

Love,
Nancy

Hi Linda

I enjoyed the story. Just wanted to let you know that the puppies are great! They have grown so much and are so fluffy and wiggly, and loving. I can not express how much we are enjoying them.

hope to get a picture of Becky and Lilli and Ernest and Riley this weekend and I will pass it along to you.

Hope you and your family are well.

Anne Elliott

Dear Linda,

We have received our certificate. Lilly is doing very well. She is house broken, sleeps all night and is doing well in puppy class.  AND.....she no longer plays using her teeth!!! We learned how to fix that the first night of puppy class and we were truly amazed at how well it worked. Instantly she was better. If you'd like to pass it along.......all we were told to do is to yelp like a puppy does when they are hurt every time she would bite. They understand this sound and what it means. Lilly even actually felt bad. She stopped right away and then gave kisses as if she were saying she was "sorry."   It has really worked well for us.

Tammy

Hi Linda!

Hope all is well. This is Shannon Novotny, my email has changed so please use this from now on. Thought I'd let you know Reilly is doing GREAT! He is super friendly and our only complaint is that he hogs ALL the bed space at night. It's so cute that we don't move him, unless we're really tired.

Our next door neighbor got a lab puppy and they play together every day. They love my backyard because it's large and fenced in, so we go back there and let them run around. Boy is my little guy spunky. He is not afraid of any dog and loves to initiate play as often as he can. He is afraid of some things. He really doesn't like skateboards, moving signs (like a real estate sign in a yard) or those windmill toys that you can blow to move.  Hates those. It's pretty funny, we have to turn around or cross the street when he sees one.

That's all for now.  Hope things are going well for you!

Take care,
Shannon

Linda,

Tank is doing wonderful... I went downstairs this morning @ 5:30 to start a pot of coffee... Geno was laying on the floor with Tank and Parker........... just lovin on them......... they are such good boys! Tank is paper broke now. I got those puppy  pads at the store and if we forget to let him out or he has to go RIGHT NOW, he will go to the puppy pad...... he is so smart. It only took him a couple days to get this figured out. It should be nice enough to go walking again tonight... so we are working on the leash with him. Tank has sit and come figured out... but we are working on the down.... I may not have to take him to puppy class if he keeps doing so well. YOU HAVE GREAT DOGS!

Loree

Linda,

Wow - it's been a long time since I've written you!  I was at the computer and thought I'd check out your website and saw that you changed your email address. Hopefully you remember me...from Cedar Falls, IA...we got Bailey (cockapoo from Sparkle and BJ) in March 2003...we visited you once before we got Bailey. Bailey is doing just fine. She was chocolate brown when we got her, but really changed to almost white on her tummy and legs and a brown tint on her back, ears, and tail.  She's around 13 lbs which is a perfect size. I'll have to borrow a digital camera and send you some pictures. Our daughter, Brittany, moved back home after graduating from college and Bailey follows her everywhere around the house. Once Brittany moves out, they're both going to miss each other.

Bailey loves to sit where she can look outside to see the rabbits and squirrels in the yard. She just can't stand when they are outside and she's inside! Bailey is a wonderful addition to the family and I can't imagine life without her. She can be a little stinker sometimes, but she's a very loving dog and loves to sneak in some kisses.  =)  Oh...she still has one of the toys that she got from you...a little green alligator that we call "Greenie."  All we have to do is say "get Greenie" and she goes running off to find it. Well...I hope everything is going well with your family.  I'll try not to wait so long to email next time.

From Iowa...Kim

Hi Linda!

Hope all is well with you and yours. We took Macy to the vet today for her second round of shots and she is 10 pounds 4 ounces. She has grown so much. We moved her to her big crate a couple of weeks ago, and she loves it.  She is even starting to go in there without being told to…..of course she wants a treat for that too. The vet said she is the perfect example of a Cocker and a Poodle. She looks like she will be built more like a cocker, but it’s still early. We just love having her. We even considered getting Lucy’s boy you still have.

Macy is sleeping through the night ( most of the time ). She is also starting to go to the door when she needs to go potty. She hasn’t had an accident since last Thursday. She does do some submissive peeing sometimes. Mostly when it is a woman wanting to pet her. I’m hoping she will out grow it. The vet said to try not letting the guest pet her right away, and maybe she wouldn’t get so excited. We’ll have to try it. She starts puppy class next Tuesday. Well, I should close for now. I just thought I’d send you some recent pictures of her. She is doing great!  We may be in town on Sunday. If we have time, I’ll call and see if you are around and we’ll bring her out to see you. Talk to you soon.Take Care!

Angie ( Macy's Mom)

Hi Linda,

I hadn't e-mailed you in awhile so I thought I better! Findlay is getting so big. He's up to 6.8 lbs. and getting taller. He's still the cutest thing! He's quite the hit at soccer practice, the vets office, etc. Everyone has been asking where we got him because he is so darn cute. And it ends up that a friend of mine's sister (her name is Leanne) got her Bichon from you! Isn't that a small world.

We've been keeping busy with soccer practices, baseball practices, soccer games, baseball games, ... I'm looking forward to November when all the sports end and we can just enjoy time at home!

We are still planning on bring the kids down and Findlay too, of course, as soon as we get some free moments. We have 3 soccer games every Sat. and baseball on Sun. and practices throughout the week so we only have one night off a week for the kids to just play! But we will make time soon to come and see you. Findlay has been doing well with the potty training except for this past week, he got into the trash on Friday and ate a little hamburger grease before I could get it cleaned up and he has had a bad tummy ache since. We took him to the vet yesterday and she gave us some medicine that is helping and he's finally getting back to his old self.  He has learned how to sit, can fetch (when he wants to), comes when we call (unless something is really interesting) and we are working on lay down. Well it's about time to pick up Meredith from preschool (Findlay likes to ride along), so I better go. Talk to you soon.

Jessica, Dan, Danny, Patrick, Meredith and Findlay

Hi Linda!

How are you? Hope you are well. We never ended up making it to Plymouth for the Blueberry Festival. Apparently dogs aren't allowed on the festival grounds - and we didn't want to leave Sable in the car... Maybe we will catch it next year!

:)Ron and I are having lots of fun with him. We'll have to send you some pictures soon. He's certainly a big guy - almost 40 lbs! He's full of energy and has lots of personality. I'm curious what his brothers and sisters are like? Hope you are doing well w/all your pups. Maybe we can stop by sometime this fall at a time when you aren't too busy. :)

Warm wishes from Chicago,
Holly-(Sable)

Linda! hello how are you?

i just thought I would update you on our little Gracie. We are still very much in love with her. She is the sweetest puppy. She just loves if you sit on the floor and pet her. When we come home, she hops about 3 feet in the air. I is very funny. She is very gentle. My son Zachary has never had a problem with his allergies. I cant thank you enough she was a perfect addition to our family.

Thank you again,
Holly Figliuolo

Don't worry at all about the mix-ups. You will forever have a soft spot in our hearts for giving us our wonderful puppy Oreo. She's the best!! Last night my 14 year old son came home from band practice in an awful mood, with the weight of the world on his shoulders. But within two minutes of playing with Oreo, he brightened up--even said, "You just can't be in a bad mood around her."!!

Hi Linda,

Thought you would appreciate this pic of Wrigley. We got her this shirt for her birthday. (I know we are nuts) If the shirt is sitting on the coffee table, she will sit there and cry at it until you put it on her. Then when she has it on her, she will try to shake it off. I think she thinks it’s a toy and has a love/hate relationship with it. Scott and I went to a Cubs game Saturday and thought of you when we passed. How are those puppies doing? I bet they are getting big. Hope all is well with you and yours…  I will send you a pic of Wrigley in her life vest when we get back out to the lake!

Sara

P.S.  Check out how she sits, I swear she is human.

Hi Linda,

We are so sorry to hear about Val, she is such a sweetheart and such a good mommy,  I know that Ebbi gets her sweet personality from her mama. Ebbi is such a joy to us, she's so funny. smart, loveable and cute. She still attracts attention wherever she goes which is just about everywhere we go. She loves her walks, rides in the car and her ball and still her "baby" which remains still her toy of choice and has to go everywhere she goes. It's the first thing she looks for in the morning and she always knows where it is. You can say "Where's baby?" and she will run right to it and bring it to you.

And yes she is changing color -- she really only has a black swatch down the middle of her back and the rest of her is turning silvery with some touches of red. She did really well at the horse show this past weekend, didn't bark at the horses or the people at all. She can be a little territorial at home which is the Lhasa in her, I think.

Getting back to Val, please let us know if you have difficulty getting her placed. I have a friend who might like a dog like like Val for her kids. She home schools and they are the three sweetest kids you ever met.

Take care and God Bless,
DeeAnn  ( Lhasa Poo from Val and Loopy)

Hi, Linda,

Just wanted to drop you a note and tell you how great the Princess is doing. She has really settled in nicely to our family.  She has to get a bath about once a week because we have had so much rain. She is still clumsy, like a typical puppy...she falls over her feet all the time. Everyone everywhere just loves her. She has made a lot of new friends. We are going to puppy classes and she can do all the things...stay, sit, down. She is a bit afraid of some of the big dogs, but the teacher says it is because she was the littlest.  She likes to play with other dogs one-on-one better. She is very smart and sweet.

She is growing, and last time she got weighed had gained two pounds. She is still little, and we love that about her. Andrew likes to run around the yard with her and he is teaching her how to play soccer. It is the cutest thing the way she runs with the ball in front of her so the ball keeps going. He also taught her to go up and down the stairs. He loves showing her off to people and talking about her. She loves people!  He is very protective of her.  He can't wait until she is completely housetrained so she can hang out in his room with him.

She was going with me in the car most days to pick him up from school to get her used to riding in the car. We are going to upstate New York in late July, so she will be ready to go with us. Can't leave our new baby at home! She will meet her "cousin" my brother's Dalmatian, a great dog who loves other dogs. Thanks again for everything. We are very happy with our sweet smart little girl.  Hope your summer is going well and that you don't flood...we've had some of that around here.

HI Linda,

I wanted to show you recent pictures of "Basha"...  If you don't remember me, I'm Tammy (the one who purchased a lhasa poo and my mom bought her sister).  We were going to name her "Ginger" but finally decided to call her "Basha."  Linda, she is the best dog I've ever had...  She is such a sweetheart!!  She is everything you said and more.  She is so good with my daughter Payge, and housebroken, smart as can be, and is so gentle and just loves everybody...  I just wanted to thank you so very much again for such a great dog.  I'm missing her tonight because she's getting fixed tomorrow morning, and I'm a little nervous for her because she's so timid, especially being somewhere she doesn't know.  But I'm sure everything will be fine.  But check out the new photos of her, you won't believe how cute she is.  The vet said she's 10 1/2 pounds already.   Big girl!!  Anyway, I hope all is well with you...  Maybe in a couple years, I might come out and buy another sweetheart from you.  Whenever I take her out and about, I still get people making over her.  So cute.  Well take care of yourself and thanks again for having such awesome puppies!!!

Tammy Callaway
